Archi's Vows
My dear Ansul, you are the one God has given me as a source of love, joy, strength, understanding, loving care, and I am delighted to have you as my husband. Thank you for accepting me the way I am. I respect and honour your honesty and faithfulness. You have taught me perseverance and never giving up. I will strive with Christ’s help to be patient, sensitive, gentle and a godly wife and with His strength, I will love you unconditionally.
I’ll laugh with you and share your happiness. I’ll comfort you in your sadness. In poverty I promise to do everything to make our love rich, and in wealth to never let our love grow poor. I’ll care for you when you are ill, I’ll honour you and I’ll joyfully submit to you as head of our home and family. As your companion, I will seek to be open and honest with you, to forgive you as Christ has forgiven me and to always remind you of the Lord’s plans and promises. Forever I devote my love and my life to you from this day forward.
Therefore, this day before God, and these family and friends I, Purchila Jamir take you Ansul Tantia to be my wedded husband. I entrust my love and life to you from this moment onward till death do us apart. You will ALWAYS be the best part of my life. I love you forever.
Ansul's Vows
You are the greatest gift that God has given to me and I am really grateful to God for this gift. I promise to treasure you all the days of our lives.
You inspire me in many ways and the most important of them all is that you have inspired me to love unconditionally which is difficult to find in today's world.
Today I stand before God, our families and all our loved ones and I vow to love you unconditionally, to encourage you, to trust you and to respect you. As a family, we will create a home filled with learning, laughter and compassion. I promise to work with you to foster and cherish a relationship based on God's principles where we will build a life far better than either of us could imagine alone. I vow to be honest, caring and truthful; to love you as you are and not as I want you to be and to grow old by your side as your love and best friend. I will stand beside you and share with you all of life’s adversities and all of its joys from this day forward.
I believe God has handpicked you for me and in His perfect will He has brought us together to complete each other and to be His faithful servants. The word of God teaches that “He who finds a wife has found a good thing and is blessed by God”. I have been blessed by God in finding a good thing in you and I commit my life to the most wonderful gift the Lord has given to me. Archi, know in your heart and in your mind that apart from my own relationship with the Lord, I will cherish you more than anything else. I love you and I will strive to love you as Christ loved the Church.
You are my best friend. I promise to laugh with you, cry with you and experience all that God has in store for us. I promise to support your dreams and to respect our differences and to love you and be by your side all the days of our lives.
I will strive to give you the best of myself while accepting you the way you are. I promise to respect your interests, desires and needs and realize that those may be different but no less important than my own.
As this ring has no end or beginning, so shall my love for you be. As I put this ring on your finger, I give you all that I am, and all that I shall become and I will love you untill death do us apart.
